Most Aggressive, Individualized Therapy Our rehabilitation department is staffed by experienced, licensed therapists who work closely with our doctors and interdisciplinary team. We provide the most progressive individualized physical, occupational and speech therapy on an outpatient and inpatient basis. Special Care Unit Wilton Meadows has a 34 bed special care unit dedicated to the treatment of those individuals who have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or a related illness. Therapeutic Recreation Intrinsic to our residents' well-being is a premier therapeutic recreation department. Residents who want to participate always have a variety of activities from which to choose. An individual's preference and needs are always considered, whether it's in a group or a one-to-one encounter. A handicapped accessible van is available for trips to events, a mall, or simply for a ride in the New England countryside. Dietary Department Our dietary department provides meals to meet the specific nutritional requirements of each resident. Wilton
Meadows is a 148 bed rehabilitation and health care facility.
We provide 24-hour nursing care and our full medical staff is available
at all times. Our team of professionals include registered nurses,
certified nursing assistants, social workers, registered dietitians,
recreation therapists and licensed
rehabilitative therapists. Podiatry, dental, optometry, audiology,
pharmacy, x-ray and laboratory services are also available. We
are certified for IV therapy and provide pain management.
